This blog is in honor of a beautiful, young girl named, Hope Stout. Her story is very inspiring and needs to be shared with others. Hope passed away on January 4, 2004, at the age of twelve after her battle with a rare form of bone cancer. Before she passed, she had the opportunity to "make a wish" by the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Hope's wish was completely self-less. She wanted all 150 children on the Carolina Make A Wish list to have their wishes granted.

"The love of a family is life's greatest blessing"
Hope left behind a wonderful, loving, and caring family. Her father, Stuart, has worked in the insurance industry for many years and is Board of March Forth with Hope. Her mother, Shelby, is a pre-school teacher. Stuart and Shelby reside in Weddington, N.C. Hope also had two sisters who loved her very much, Austin and Holly and one cat.
