Joyful in Hope

This song by Cory Asbury called "You are my hope" has lyrics that we need to be reminded of everyday!

Lyrics:
To You, O Lord, I lift my soul; my God in whom I trust
Let me not be ashamed
‘Cause only You can deliver me from the hand of my strong enemy
Let me not be ashamed

Pre-chorus:
No one who waits on the Lord will ever be put to shame
No one who waits on the Lord will ever be put to shame

Chorus:
You are, You are my hope; You are, You are my song
You are, You are my light; You are my salvation

Bridge:

All my hope’s in You, my strength, my song
All my hope’s in You, my strength, my song

How one girl's dream made others' come true

Hope always dreamed of becoming famous one day. This is so exciting because a movie on Hope's life is in the works. The movie will be named Hope's Wish and the film will be shot in Charlotte, N.C., in hopes to reach places such as L.A. and N.Y.C. This movie is currently seeking guidance and funding. Please be praying!

Shelby Stout, vice of the board, says "Had a GREAT meeting for Hope's Wish the movie! Wouldn't it be just like God to bless Hope's journey of cancer and bring BIG awareness for Children's Cancer Research or LACK OF, to the FOREFRONT through this movie! Continue praying for this! We will WIPE OUT CANCER in children!"

Make-A-Wish Foundation

Make-A-Wish Foundation was founded in 1980. This foundation began with a young boy named Chris Greicius discovered his wish was to become a police officer.
This is a non-profit organization , with a mission : "  We grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy." Make-A-Wish has granted 199,054 wishes. The ratio is about 1 wish per 40 minutes. This fact is amazing!

Mission-minded

March Forth with Hope Foundation's mission :
"provides financial assistance to families battling cancer or other life-threatening diseases. The Foundation was established by Stuart and Shelby Stout in memory of their daughter, Hope Stout, shortly after she lost her courageous fight with cancer.

Her mother, Shelby, is a pre-school teacher. Stuart and Shelby reside in Weddington, N.C. Hope also had two sisters who loved her very much, Austin and Holly and one cat.
